For the transport of our birds in Spanish national territory, we ensure that they have adequate temperature and ventilation for each type of species.
Vehicles we use are qualified according to the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Food and Environment.
For the transfer of birds to international territory:
- In some cases it will be necessary to issue an export Cites, depending on the country of destination and the species to be shipped.
- Cites documents will be issued by the national bodies in charge of the permit/certificate (Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness – SOIVRE).
- All shipments will be made in boxes / carriers according to the standards established by IATA.
- Some countries require import permits. If this is the case, the client must inform about the specific requirements of the country of destination.
Carriers for Transport
The carriers must be safe for birds. The International Association for Air Transport (IATA) proposes special rules and regulations for the shipment of animals. These regulations are available in the Live Animal Regulation Guide.
Our birds always travel in boxes/carriers that comply with these regulations.
